Joshi Detox Day 1

I am back to work after a 4-day weekend and ready to start my detox.  I woke up this morning with my allergies attacking me and so I feel super groggy and exhausted already.  A fresh cup of coffee would be wonderful right now but instead I am here sipping on a green tea with lemon.  I don’t know how I’m going to survive today or the next 20 days ahead.  My 2 friends at work are starting the detox with me and they are fully prepared, so the motivation from them really helps!

My meal plan for the day is:

Breakfast: Green tea with lemon, huge glass of water, banana, bowl of gluten-free cereal with almond milk Mid-Morning Snack: a rice cake spread with almond butter and walnut pieces Lunch: brown rice, steamed broccoli and salmon Mid-Afternoon Snack: almonds and lentil crackers

Dinner: Baked chicken with brown rice, asparagus, spinach
