Its day 5 ! Today is my dad’s birthday so we went out for lunch to a Chinese/Caribbean buffet. I checked out the buffet and there was nothing I could eat 🙁 I asked to see the menu and ordered chicken and vegetables. I figured this was a safe bet but then when my food came out, it was covered in some sort of delicious sauce that was definitely full of sugar and other bad things. I ended up eating it anyway because I’m not going to be a crazy lunatic about this detox. There was plenty of chicken, bok choy, broccoli and carrots so overall it was a healthy dish. The sauce was so good but I did feel a bit guilty eating it. I wasn’t going to stave though/waste food.
Meal Plan for the Day:
Breakfast: Lemon with water and a bowl of gluten-free corn flakes with almond milkSnack: banana Lunch: chicken and vegetables covered in BAD BAD sauce Snack: rice cakes with almond butterDinner: It was late and I didn’t feel like cooking so I baked some kale chips and had a big bowl of those. Satisfying.
